About

So! You want to know what we’re all about and who WE are…

What we’re all about:

Eliminating the stress and frustrations that arise from the mysteries of shopping online for fashion. We provide as many details as we can think of on fashion products here so that you are not left wondering questions like “is this a TRUE-red or an ORANGE-red” or “will this dress work for my body type” or “is this going to be long enough for me?”

Everyone is unique, hosting various body shapes, lengths, and sizes. Two people may both fit into a size 8 dress, but it can look flattering on one and not the other simply because of body shape or varying torso lengths. These are details we seek to help prevent you from falling in love with something just may not work for you, OR help you find a way to wear it that makes it work for you! See? Awesome, right?

Now, who makes up this fabulously awesome Fashion Inquisition?

Mostly, it’s me… Elisha: the initial Fashion Inquisitor of sorts. I was (am) a review addict. I rarely buy anything without first consulting reviews, ESPECIALLY when it comes to clothing! Who wants to spend over $100 on a dress they saw online only for it to arrive and be too small, or too short? No one, that’s who. I sometimes find myself sifting through reviews for hours, sometimes even days, trying to answer what seems like a simple question. I may be a research hound, but I felt I was wasting my time in an effort to not waste money. I’m sure you feel the same way shopping online for clothes, too. As a busy mom of two, a military spouse, and a college student, the last thing I needed to do was waste time and money. And I KNEW I was not alone in my frustrations. Many people I would vent to would share their own stories of such annoyances with shopping for apparel online.

So, I decided to do something about it…create The Fashion Inquisition!

Alright, so now there’s the lingering question in your mind: “she said ‘we’, but it’s just her?” As I said, it’s mostly me. 😉 I have many friends who are also great at this stuff that share in your online shopping pains and want to help out. ALSO, some of them are cosmetologists and estheticians. So, I definitely plan on inviting some guest blogging to help round out our Fashion Inquisition pool of information for you.

There you have it! The 411 on The Fashion Inquisition!
